This article explores methods for developers and architects to create persuasive, structured arguments, inspired by Diana Montalion’s Learning Systems Thinking. Plöd presents three systemic reasoning techniques—Logical Grouping, Logical Chain, and the MECE Principle—to aid in presenting ideas coherently and impactfully. By systematically linking claims to values, reasoning becomes clearer and more effective. This structured approach, coupled with technical skills, enhances a developer's or architect's ability to drive meaningful discussions and changes in complex organizational settings.
